Merhaba! Ben Gri. Bugün şu an olan şeyleri anlatacağız! Tam şu anda bir şey yapıyorsak am / is / are + fiil-ing deriz: I am playing. She is reading. Look! The cat is sleeping. Hadi bakalım şu anda ne yapıyorsun!

Present Continuous Ne Demek? (What is it?)

Present Continuous, tam şu an olan eylemleri anlatır. Türkçesi "...-ıyor / ...-iyor" demektir. Yapı hep aynıdır: am / is / are + fiil-ing:

I am playing.Oyun oynuyorum. (şu an)
She is reading a book.O bir kitap okuyor. (şu an)
Look! The cat is sleeping.Bak! Kedi uyuyor. (tam şu an)

Kolay yol

Tam şu an oluyorsa → Present Continuous. I am eating now. (Şimdi yemek yiyorum.)
Look! ve now gördüğünde bu zamanı düşün: bir şey tam şu an oluyor.

1. am / is / are Seç (be + verb-ing)

Önce doğru be kelimesini seçeriz. Kime göre değişir: I → am, he/she/it → is, you/we/they → are. Sonra fiile -ing ekleriz:

I	am	I am playing.
He / She / It	is	She is reading.
You / We / They	are	They are running.

Kolay yol

I am, he/she/it is, you/we/they are. Bir şarkı gibi ezberle!
be'yi unutma: "She reading." ✗ → "She is reading." ✓

2. Fiile -ing Ekle (spelling)

Fiilin sonuna -ing ekleriz. Çoğu fiil çok kolaydır. Birkaç küçük kural var:

çoğu fiil: +ing	play	playing
çoğu fiil: +ing	read	reading
sonda -e varsa: -e at, +ing	make	making
kısa fiil: son harfi ikizle	run	running

Altın kural

Çoğu fiil için sadece +ing yeter: eat → eating, sleep → sleeping.
make → making (e düşer), run → running (n ikizlenir).

3. Şu An Oluyor (now / Look!)

Bu zaman, tam şu an olan şeyler içindir. Türkçe -ıyor / -iyor ile biter. Sık kullanılan işaret kelimeleri:

right now	She is dancing right now.	O tam şu an dans ediyor.

İpucu

now, Look!, right now gördüğünde → fiil-ing kullan.
Türkçesi hep -ıyor ile biter: playing = oynuyor.

4. Sorular ve Kısa Cevaplar (Are you...? Yes, I am.)

Soru sormak için am / is / are'ı başa alırız: Am / Is / Are + özne + fiil-ing? Cevaplar çok kolaydır:

Kolay yol

Soruda be en başa gelir: Are you eating? (Yemek yiyor musun?)
Kısa cevapta fiili tekrar etmeyiz: "Yes, I am." ("Yes, I am playing." demeyiz.)

5. Present Continuous vs am/is/are (iki parça)

Cümle her zaman iki parçadan oluşur: önce be (am/is/are), sonra fiil-ing. İkisi de olmalı!

be + fiil-ing. İki parça birlikte gelir: am playing, is reading, are running.

6. What Are You Doing? (Mini Diyalog)

İki çocuk şu an ne yaptıklarını konuşuyor. Koyu yazılan kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:

— What are you doing?Ne yapıyorsun?
— I am reading a book. And I am eating an apple too.Kitap okuyorum. Ve bir de elma yiyorum.
— Look! Your cat is climbing the tree.Bak! Kedin ağaca tırmanıyor.
— Yes! And my dog is running in the garden.Evet! Köpeğim de bahçede koşuyor.
— Are your friends playing football?Arkadaşların futbol oynuyor mu?
— Yes, they are! We are all having fun now.Evet, oynuyorlar! Şu an hepimiz eğleniyoruz.

Sık yapılan hatalar

"She reading." ✗ → "She is reading." ✓ (be'yi unutma).
"I am read." ✗ → "I am reading." ✓ (fiil-ing olmalı).
"You are playing?" ✗ → "Are you playing?" ✓ (soruda be başa gelir).

Dikkat: n ikizlenir (run → running).

drawing (v-ing)

draw → drawing (resim çiziyor)

"He is drawing a dog."

sing → singing (şarkı söylüyor)

"The birds are singing."

dancing (v-ing)

dance → dancing (dans ediyor)

Dikkat: e düşer (dance → dancing).

"She is dancing now."

jumping (v-ing)

jump → jumping (zıplıyor)

"The dog is jumping high."

writing (v-ing)

write → writing (yazıyor)

Dikkat: e düşer (write → writing).

"I am writing a letter."

A Sunny Day

Hi! I am Ada. Look at my family right now! It is a sunny day. I am sitting in the garden and I am reading a book about animals.

It is warm and the birds are singing. I am wearing my green t-shirt and I am sitting on the soft grass. My book has many pictures of lions and tigers. I am reading slowly and I am learning new words. My family is around me and I am feeling very happy today.

My brother Emir is playing football. He is running very fast. My mother is drinking tea and she is talking to my aunt. My father is cooking lunch in the kitchen.

My aunt is sitting next to my mother. She is drinking juice and she is smiling. My cousin is helping my father in the kitchen. He is washing the tomatoes. The food is smelling very nice! Everyone is talking and everyone is having a good time right now.

Look at the tree! Two birds are singing. My cat is sleeping under the tree. My dog is jumping and it is playing with a ball. We are all happy today! What are you doing now?

Look at the sky! The sun is shining and the clouds are moving slowly. A butterfly is flying near the flowers. My little dog is running after it. It is barking and it is wagging its tail. The garden is full of colours and we are all having fun today.

Everyone in my family is busy right now, and it is a lovely afternoon. My mother is drinking her tea and my father is cooking a nice lunch. My grandmother is drawing a picture and my grandfather is reading a newspaper. My cousins are dancing to the music and my uncle is playing his guitar. The birds are singing in the tree and the flowers are opening in the sun. I am watching my happy family and I am smiling. We are all enjoying this beautiful day together.

Look at my grandmother! She is sitting near the flowers. She is drawing a picture of the garden. My baby sister is not sleeping now. She is laughing and clapping her hands. The baby is looking at a butterfly.

My baby sister is very awake now. She is clapping her hands and she is laughing at the butterfly. My mother is watching her and she is smiling. The baby is not crying today. She is playing with a little toy. We are all looking at her and we are laughing too.

I can hear music too. My uncle is playing the guitar and my cousins are dancing. My friends are not watching TV. They are running and jumping outside. The sun is shining and the wind is blowing softly. It is a happy day for my family. Are you having fun now too?

Küçük Bağlaçlar (Small Words: and, but, because)
