Bir şeyi ya da bir aktiviteyi sevdiğini söylemek için like kullanırız. Bir şeyi seversen arkasına ismi koyarsın; bir aktiviteyi seversen fiile -ing eklersin:
- I like apples.Elmaları severim. (like + isim)
- I like playing football.Futbol oynamayı severim. (like + -ing)
- I don't like fish.Balığı sevmem. (olumsuz)
- Bir şeyi seversen → like + isim (I like music).
- Bir aktiviteyi seversen → like + fiil+ing (I like swimming).
- Sevmiyorsan → don't like (I don't like fish).
1. I like + isim (like + noun)
Sevdiğin bir şey varsa, like kelimesinden sonra ismini yazarsın. Yiyecek, oyuncak, renk... her şey olabilir:

2. I like + -ing (like + verb-ing)
Sevdiğin bir aktivite varsa (oynamak, okumak, yüzmek), fiilin sonuna -ing eklersin. Bunlar senin hobilerin:

- Aktivite → like + fiil+ing (I like drawing).
- "I like play football" ✗ → "I like playing football" ✓.
3. He / She likes (-s ekle)
He, she, it (o) için like kelimesine küçük bir -s eklenir: likes. Başka bir kişiden bahsederken unutma:

- he, she, it → like + s = likes.

4. I don't like / doesn't like (Olumsuz)
Bir şeyi sevmiyorsan don't like dersin. He, she, it için doesn't like olur (like'a -s eklenmez!):

- I, you, we, they → don't like.
- he, she, it → doesn't like ("She doesn't likes" ✗).
5. Do you like ...? (Soru + Kısa Cevap)
Birine bir şeyi sevip sevmediğini sormak için başa Do koyarız. He, she, it için Does olur. Kısa cevap kolay:

- Bir şey → like + isim; bir aktivite → like + -ing. he/she/it → likes. Olumsuz: don't/doesn't like. Soruda başa Do/Does gelir.
6. My Hobbies (Mini Diyalog)
İki arkadaş hobilerini konuşuyor. Koyu kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:
- — Do you like football? — Yes, I do! I like playing every day.— Futbolu sever misin? — Evet! Her gün oynamayı severim.
- — Does your sister like football? — No, she doesn't. She likes music.— Kız kardeşin futbolu sever mi? — Hayır. O müziği sever.
- — I like reading and drawing. I don't like games.— Okumayı ve çizmeyi severim. Oyunları sevmem.
- — My dog likes swimming. He doesn't like fish!— Köpeğim yüzmeyi sever. Balığı sevmez!
- "She like music" ✗ → "She likes music" ✓ (o → -s ekle).
- "I like play football" ✗ → "I like playing football" ✓ (aktivite → -ing).
- "She doesn't likes" ✗ → "She doesn't like" ✓ (olumsuzda -s yok).

Hi! I am Emma. I am eight years old. I like many things! I like playing football with my friends. Football is my favourite game. I play every day after school.
I am a happy and busy girl. I have many hobbies, and every day is fun for me. I play football in the park with my friends Tom and Ben. We run and we kick the ball together.
