Present Simple, her gün ya da her hafta tekrar eden işleri anlatır. Türkçesi "...-ır / ...-er" demektir. Fiili çoğu zaman hiç değiştirmeden kullanırız:
- On Monday I play football.Pazartesi günü futbol oynarım.
- Every day I go to school.Her gün okula giderim.
- I read a book every night.Her gece bir kitap okurum.
- Her gün / her hafta tekrar eden işler → Present Simple. I go to school every day. (Her gün okula giderim.)
- every day ve on Monday gördüğünde bu zamanı düşün: iş tekrar tekrar oluyor.
1. Haftanın Günleri (Days of the Week)
Bir haftada yedi gün vardır. Günler İngilizce'de her zaman büyük harfle başlar. Bir günü söylerken önüne on koyarız: on Monday.

- on + gün: on Monday, on Sunday. Günler her zaman büyük harfle başlar!
- Cumartesi ve Pazar hafta sonudur: the weekend.
2. I play / He plays (fiil + s)
Present Simple'da fiili çoğunlukla hiç değiştirmeyiz. Ama özne he / she / it ise fiile -s ekleriz:

- He / She / It → +s. He plays, she reads, it runs.
- Diğer herkeste fiil aynı kalır: I play, you play, we play, they play.
3. Her Gün / Pazartesi (every day / on Monday)
Present Simple, tekrar eden işler içindir. Türkçe -ır / -er ile biter. Ne zaman olduğunu söyleyen işaret kelimeleri:

- every day, on Monday, every week gördüğünde → Present Simple kullan.
- Türkçesi hep -ır / -er ile biter: play = oynarım.
4. don't / doesn't (Olumsuz)
Bir işi yapmıyorsak fiilin önüne don't ya da doesn't koyarız. He/she/it → doesn't, diğerleri → don't:

- doesn't'tan sonra fiil -s almaz: "He doesn't plays." ✗ → "He doesn't play." ✓
- don't = do not, doesn't = does not.
5. Sorular ve Kısa Cevaplar (Do you...? Yes, I do.)
Soru sormak için başa Do ya da Does koyarız: Do / Does + özne + fiil? Cevaplar çok kolaydır:

- He/she/it için Does, diğerleri için Do ile başla.
- Kısa cevapta fiili tekrar etmeyiz: "Yes, I do." ("Yes, I play." demeyiz.)
6. My Week (Mini Diyalog)
İki çocuk haftalarını konuşuyor. Koyu yazılan kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:

- "She play football." ✗ → "She plays football." ✓ (he/she/it → +s).
- "He doesn't plays." ✗ → "He doesn't play." ✓ (doesn't'tan sonra +s yok).
- "You play football?" ✗ → "Do you play football?" ✓ (soruda Do başa gelir).

Hi! I am Deniz. I am nine years old. I love my week! Every morning I eat breakfast at seven o'clock. Then every day I go to school with my sister.
I like my mornings. First I wake up at six o'clock, and I open the window. Then I wash my face and I brush my teeth. My mother makes eggs and bread for breakfast. My sister and I put on our uniforms. We walk to school together, and we talk about our day.
On Monday I play football with my friends. On Tuesday I read books in the library. On Wednesday I go to art class and I paint pictures. On Thursday I help my mother in the garden. On Friday I watch a film with my family.
I have a favourite lesson on every day. I love football the most, so Monday is a happy day for me. In the library on Tuesday, it is quiet and I read many stories. Art class on Wednesday is fun because I like to paint. Every school day is different, and that is why I love my week.
My best friend Cem lives near me. On Monday we always play football together after school. He is very fast, and I can kick the ball far. We are a good team. When the game is over, we say, "See you tomorrow!" and I run home for a big dinner.
Saturday and Sunday are my favourite days. This is the weekend! On Saturday I visit my grandma. She makes a big cake and we eat it together. My brother rides his bike, but I don't ride a bike. I swim at the pool.
My grandma lives in a small house with a big garden. On Saturday, I help her pick tomatoes. Then we eat her wonderful cake in the kitchen. In the afternoon, I go to the pool and I swim with my cousins. My brother takes his bike, but I like the water more.
On Sunday my family goes to the park. My father plays chess and my mother reads a book. My dog runs and jumps on the grass. In the evening I do my homework and I go to bed early.
Sunday is a calm day for all of us. We take sandwiches and juice to the park. We sit on the grass under a big tree. My father teaches me how to play chess. My mother reads her book in the sun. My dog is the happiest of all, because he runs and runs.
I don't watch TV every day. I read a book every night. My sister reads too. We are a happy family. What do you do every week?
In the evening, I never feel bored. I don't watch TV every day, but I read a book every night before I sleep. Books take me to new places: forests, oceans, and space! My sister reads next to me. "Good night!" we say. Tomorrow is a new day in my happy week.
