Havayı anlatmak için It is ... deriz. "It" burada hava demektir. Sonra bir hava sözcüğü koyarız: sunny (güneşli), rainy (yağmurlu), cold (soğuk), hot (sıcak):
- It is sunny today.Bugün güneşli. (It is + hava)
- It is rainy and cold.Yağmurlu ve soğuk.
- It is hot in summer.Yazın hava sıcak.
- Hava → her zaman It is ... (kısası: It's ...).
- Hava sözcükleri: sunny, rainy, cold, hot, windy, snowy.
- "They are sunny" ✗ → "It is sunny" ✓ (hava tekildir).
1. It is + hava (sunny / rainy / cold / hot)
Bugün hava nasıl? It is ile söyle. Pencereden dışarı bak ve doğru sözcüğü seç:

- Önce It is, sonra hava sözcüğü.
- It is windy (rüzgarlı), It is snowy (karlı), It is cloudy (bulutlu).
2. It is not / isn't (Olumsuz)
"Değil" demek için is yanına not ekleriz: is not = isn't. Hava öyle değilse bunu kullan:

- is + not → isn't. "It is not hot" = "It isn't hot".
- "It not cold" ✗ → "It is not cold" ✓.
3. Is it ...? (Soru + Kısa Cevap)
Soru sormak için Is sözcüğünü başa alırız: Is it ...? Kısa cevap da kolay:

4. Seasons (Dört Mevsim)
Bir yılda dört mevsim vardır. Her mevsimde hava farklıdır. "Bir mevsimde" demek için In + mevsim deriz:

5. be + sıfat (The sun is hot)
Sadece hava değil, her şeyi be (am/is/are) ile anlatırız. Tek şey → is, çok şey → are:

İki arkadaş havayı konuşuyor. Koyu kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:
- — Is it sunny today? — Yes, it is! The sky is blue.— Bugün güneşli mi? — Evet! Gökyüzü mavi.
- — Is it hot? — No, it isn't. It is warm and windy.— Sıcak mı? — Hayır. Ilık ve rüzgarlı.

Hello! I am Mia. I love the weather! There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Every season is different and fun.
Every season has its own weather and colours. Spring is warm, summer is hot, autumn is cool, and winter is cold. I like to watch the sky, the clouds and the trees. I always know the season by the weather outside. Each one is special to me. Let me tell you about all four of them!
In spring, it is warm and sunny. The flowers are pink and yellow. Sometimes it is rainy, but the rain is good for the flowers. Spring is green and pretty.
I love spring very much. In spring, the birds come back and they sing all day. Baby animals are born on the farm. I wear a light jacket and I play outside. Everything is green and fresh after the rain. My family plants new flowers in the garden. Spring is gentle, and it always makes me smile.
In summer, it is very hot. The sun is big and yellow. The sky is blue. Summer is my favourite season. We are at the beach and the sea is warm. It is not cold at all!
Summer is the best season for me! When it is hot, my family goes to the beach. I swim in the warm sea with my brother, and we build tall castles in the sand. We eat cold ice cream in the sun. In the evening, the sky is orange and beautiful. I never want the summer to end!
In autumn, it is windy and cool. The leaves are red, orange and brown. Sometimes it is grey and rainy. My jacket is warm and brown.
Autumn is windy and cool, and I like it a lot. The leaves fall from the trees. I walk on the red and brown leaves, and they make a nice sound under my feet! I wear my warm brown jacket every day. Sometimes the rain comes, and I use my big umbrella. In autumn, school starts again, and I see my friends.
In winter, it is very cold. Sometimes it is snowy. The snow is white and soft. The trees are white too. There is a snowman in our garden. He is big and funny. It is cold, but it is fun!
Winter is very cold, but I love it too! When it snows, the whole world is white and quiet. I wear a hat, a scarf and warm gloves. My brother and I make a big snowman in the garden. We drink hot chocolate inside the house. At night, we sit by the warm fire. Winter days are cold but very cosy.
