Merhaba! Ben Gri. Ünite 3'te I, you, we, they ile geniş zamanı öğrendik. Bugün sıra he, she, it'te (o)! Başkasından söz ederken fiile küçük bir -s ekleriz: She likes cats. He plays football. Hazır mısın?

he / she / it Ne Demek? (What are he, she, it?)

Bir başkasından (bir kişi ya da hayvandan) söz ederken he, she ya da it deriz. Hepsi Türkçede "o" demektir:

he = o (erkek) → my brother, my dad, my friend EmirHe plays football. (O futbol oynar.)
she = o (kız) → my sister, my mum, my friend ElaShe likes cats. (O kedileri sever.)
it = o (hayvan / eşya) → my cat, the dog, a ballIt sleeps a lot. (O çok uyur.)

Hatırlatma

I, you, we, they ile fiil sade kalır (Ünite 3): I play, we like.
Ama he, she, it ile fiil biraz değişir — hadi bakalım nasıl!

1. Fiile -s Ekleriz (Add -s for he / she / it)

he, she ya da it ile fiilin sonuna küçük bir -s koyarız. Sadece bu kişilerde!

Kolay yol

he / she / it → fiil + -s: play→plays, like→likes, run→runs.
Diğer kişilerde (I, you, we, they) -s yok: "I play" ✓ ama "He plays" ✓.

2. Bazı Fiiller -es Alır (-es and special verbs)

Bazı fiiller -s yerine -es alır. Sonu o, s, x, ch, sh ile biten fiiller böyledir:

Dikkat!

have özeldir: he/she/it ile has olur. "have got" eklemeyiz.
go→goes, watch→watches, do→does — sonuna -es.

3. "sevmez / yapmaz" Demek: doesn't (Negative)

he, she, it için olumsuzu doesn't (does not) ile yaparız. Bu sefer fiile -s eklemeyiz — çünkü -s işini does yapar:

Not

doesn't = does not. doesn't'tan sonra fiil sade kalır: "He doesn't like" ✓ (He doesn't likes ✗).

4. Soru Sormak: Does...? (Questions)

he, she, it için soruyu cümlenin başına Does koyarak yaparız. Fiil yine sade kalır:

She likes ice cream. → Does she like ice cream?O dondurma sever. → O dondurma sever mi?
He plays football. → Does he play football?O futbol oynar. → O futbol oynar mı?

Kısa cevaplar da kolaydır:

Does'tan sonra fiil sade kalır: "Does she like...?" ✓ (Does she likes ✗).

5. Sık Yapılan Hatalar (Common Mistakes)

Bu tabloyu kontrol listen yap. Kendi cümlelerini yazarken bu hataları yapma:

6. Birlikte Görelim (Two Friends Talk)

İki çocuk bir arkadaşları ve onun kedisi hakkında konuşuyor. Koyu yazılan kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:

My Friend Ela

This is my friend Ela. She is eight. She has a big family and a small cat. The cat is called Pamuk. Every day, Ela plays with Pamuk. Pamuk sleeps a lot and it likes milk. Ela loves animals very much.

Pamuk is a white cat with green eyes. It is very lazy and it sleeps on the sofa all day. In the evening, Ela feeds it and Pamuk drinks milk from a small bowl. Ela talks to her cat every night. Pamuk is a quiet and happy cat. Ela loves it very much.

Ela has a brother. His name is Emir. He plays football every day. He doesn't like cats, but he likes dogs. After school, Ela reads a book and Emir watches TV.

Emir is a strong boy. He runs fast and he kicks the ball hard. His friends play football with him after school. Emir has a blue bike and he rides it in the street. He likes dogs and he draws them in his book. He is a funny brother.

Ela has a best friend too. Her name is Zoe. Zoe likes cats and she has a small dog. Every day, Zoe runs in the garden. She is kind and she helps Ela with homework. She doesn't watch TV, but she reads a lot.

Zoe lives near Ela's house. She is a kind girl. Every morning she reads a book and she draws animals. Her little dog runs with her in the garden. Zoe helps her mum at home and she likes music. She sings a nice song every day and she smiles a lot.

Ela has a happy life at home. She wakes up early and she opens the window. Her cat Pamuk jumps on the bed and it says hello. Ela gets ready and she goes to school with Emir. After school, she does her homework and then she plays in the garden. In the evening, her mum cooks dinner and the family eats together. Ela reads a story to Emir before bed. She is a kind sister and everybody in the family loves her.

Ela's mum works in a school. She teaches English. Ela's dad plays football too. On Sunday, the family goes to the park together. Ela runs and her cat sleeps at home. Does Ela like her family? Yes, she does!

Ela's family is big and happy. Her grandmother makes nice food and her grandfather tells funny stories. On Sunday, they all go to the park together. Ela plays and Emir plays football with his dad. Her mum takes many photos of the family. Everyone laughs and has a lovely day.
