Saati sormak için "What time is it?" deriz. Cevap vermek için "It's ..." ile başlarız. Tam saatler için o'clock, buçuklar için half past kullanırız:
- It's seven o'clock. (7:00)Saat yedi. (tam saat → o'clock)
- It's half past eight. (8:30)Sekiz buçuk. (buçuk → half past)
- It's nine o'clock. (9:00)Saat dokuz. (tam saat → o'clock)
- Tam saat (7:00) → o'clock. Buçuk (7:30) → half past.
- Cevap her zaman It's ... ile başlar: "It's ten o'clock."
- Günün bölümleri: morning (sabah), afternoon (öğleden sonra), night (gece).
1. o'clock (Tam Saatler)
Tam saatlerde (7:00, 8:00, 9:00) sadece sayı + o'clock deriz. Dakika yoktur:

- Tam saat → sayı + o'clock: "three o'clock".

2. half past (Buçuklar)
Buçuklarda (7:30, 8:30) half past + saat deriz. "Half past eight" = 8:30 demektir:

- Buçuk → half past + saat: "half past nine" = 9:30.
- Önce half past, sonra saat gelir: "half past six".
3. My Day (Günlük Fiiller)
Her gün yaptığımız şeyleri anlatmak için bu fiilleri kullanırız. Öğren ve gününü söyle:

- Zamanı eklersin: "I get up at seven o'clock."
4. I / We + fiil (Present Simple)
I (ben) ve we (biz) ile fiil aynı kalır, değişmez. Her gün olan şeyler için kullanırız:

- I ve we → fiil aynı: "I play", "We play".
- Saati "at" ile ekle: "I sleep at nine o'clock."
5. What time ...? (Saat Sorusu + Cevap)
Bir şeyi ne zaman yaptığımızı sormak için "What time ...?" kullanırız. Cevapta saati söyleriz:

- Tam saat → o'clock; buçuk → half past. Cevap It's ... ile başlar. Rutin için: I / we + fiil (get up, go, eat, play, sleep) ve saati at ile ekle.

İki arkadaş günlerini konuşuyor. Koyu kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:
- — What time do you get up? — I get up at seven o'clock.— Saat kaçta kalkarsın? — Saat yedide kalkarım.
- — What time do you go to school? — We go to school at half past eight.— Okula kaçta gidersin? — Sekiz buçukta gideriz.
- — I eat breakfast in the morning and I play in the afternoon.— Sabah kahvaltı yaparım, öğleden sonra oynarım.

- "It's o'clock ten" ✗ → "It's ten o'clock" ✓ (önce sayı).

Hello! My name is Sam. I am eight years old. This is my day! Every morning I get up at seven o'clock. I wash my face and I eat breakfast. I like milk and eggs. My sister gets up too, and we eat together.
I like the morning very much. It is quiet and calm. After breakfast, I put on my clothes and my shoes. I take my school bag. My bag is blue, and it has my books and my pencils in it. I brush my hair and I am ready. My mum smiles and says, "Have a good day, Sam!"
At half past eight, we go to school. School is fun! I read, I write, and I play with my friends. We have lunch at twelve o'clock. I eat a sandwich and an apple. Yummy!
At school, I have many lessons. I like maths and I like art. My teacher is Miss Green, and she is kind and nice. At lunch time, I sit with my friends. My best friend is Tom. We talk and we laugh a lot. After lunch, we have one more lesson. Then it is time to go home. Learning new things is fun for me.
In the afternoon, I come home at half past three. First, I do my homework. Then I play. I play football in the garden with my dog, Rex. Rex is fast and funny!
I love the afternoon. The garden is big and green. Rex runs after the ball, and he brings it back to me. He is a very good dog! Sometimes my sister reads her book in the garden. The sun is warm and the birds sing. We have fun together until dinner time.
At six o'clock, we eat dinner. My mum makes soup. It is very good! After dinner, I watch a cartoon on TV. I like cartoons a lot.
In the evening, my family is together. We are happy at home. My dad tells a funny story, and we all laugh. After my cartoon, sometimes we play a board game. I like board games very much. Watching cartoons is my favourite part of the day, because the animals on TV are so funny!
I go to school from Monday to Friday. But I love the weekend! On Saturday and Sunday, there is no school. I rest, and I play football with Rex all day. We go to the park with my mum and dad. Sometimes we visit my grandma. She is very kind, and she gives us cake and juice. The weekend is my favourite time of the week. I always feel happy and free at the weekend.
At half past eight, I brush my teeth. Then I read a small book in my bed. At nine o'clock, I sleep. I am happy and a little tired. Good night! What time do you get up? What time do you sleep?
