Kısa bir video dinle ve izle. (Listen and watch a short video.)
|---|---|---|
| always | %100 | her zaman |
| usually | ~%90 | genellikle |
| often | ~%70 | sık sık |
| sometimes | ~%50 | bazen |
| rarely | ~%10 | nadiren |
| never | %0 | asla |
Sıklık zarfı, cümledeki ana fiilden önce gelir. Yani önce özne, sonra zarf, sonra fiil: özne + zarf + fiil.
| Özne | Zarf | Fiil + ... | Türkçesi |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | always | do my homework. | Ödevimi her zaman yaparım. |
| She | usually | trains after school. | Genellikle okuldan sonra antrenman yapar. |
| They | often | watch football videos. | Sık sık futbol videoları izlerler. |
| He | never | plays video games on school nights. | Okul gecelerinde asla oyun oynamaz. |
Ama fiil be (am, is, are) ise kural değişir: sıklık zarfı bu kez be'den sonra gelir. Yani be + zarf:
| Özne + be | Zarf | ... | Türkçesi |
|---|---|---|---|
| I am | always | hungry after training. | Antrenmandan sonra hep açımdır. |
| He is | usually | late for class. | Derse genellikle geç kalır. |
| They are | never | bored at the weekend. | Hafta sonu asla sıkılmazlar. |
|---|---|---|
| I check always my phone. | I always check my phone. | zarf ana fiilden önce. |
| She is often late no. | She is often late. | be + zarf (sonra). |
| He never not plays games. | He never plays games. | never zaten olumsuz anlam taşır. |
| They usually plays football. | They usually play football. | they → fiil yalın (play). |
| How much do you train? | How often do you train? | sıklık → How often. |
