Selam, ben yine Gri! Bu ünitede "sende ne var?" diye konuşuyoruz: have / has (sahip olmak) ve my, your, his, her... (iyelik sıfatları). Aileni, arkadaşlarını, telefonunu ve oyunlarını anlatmanın anahtarı bunlar. Başlayalım.

"have / has" Nedir? (What is "have / has"?)

Bir şeye sahip olduğunu söylerken İngilizcede have ya da has kullanırsın. Genç hayatında bunu çok kullanacaksın:

"I have two brothers."İki erkek kardeşim var. (aile)
"She has a new phone."Onun yeni bir telefonu var. (telefon)
"My friends have the same game."Arkadaşlarımın aynı oyunu var. (oyun)
"We have a football team."Bir futbol takımımız var. (spor)
"He has a game console."Onun bir oyun konsolu var. (oyun konsolu)
"I have a YouTube account."Bir YouTube hesabım var. (sosyal medya)

Gördüğün gibi tek fark have ile has arasında seçim yapmak:

"I have a bike."Bir bisikletim var.
"She has a bike."Onun bir bisikleti var.
"They have a bike."Onların bir bisikleti var.

Hangi kişiyle have, hangisiyle has kullanacağını şimdi birlikte göreceğiz.

1. Kim Neye Sahip: have / has (Subject + have/has)

Kural çok sade. Sadece iki grup var:

Kolay yol

he / she / it (tek kişi/şey) → has.
I / you / we / they → have.
Kısaca: sadece he, she, it ile has; geri kalan herkeste have.

2. İyelik Sıfatları (Possessive Adjectives)

"Kimin?" sorusunun cevabı iyelik sıfatıdır: benim, senin, onun... Bu kelimeler isimden hemen önce gelir:

Dikkat

Bir erkek için his, bir kız için her: "Kaan? His phone." / "Ada? Her phone."
its = onun (iyelik) — it's = it is (o ...dır). Bunları karıştırma! ✗ The dog has it's ball. → ✓ The dog has its ball.

3. "yok" Demek: don't / doesn't have (Negative)

Bir şey "yok" demek için have'in önüne don't ya da doesn't eklersin:

Not

doesn't'ten sonra fiil yalın kalır: "She doesn't have." ✓ — "She doesn't has." ✗

4. Soru Sormak: Do / Does ... have? (Questions)

Soru sormak için cümlenin başına Do ya da Does koyarsın. Türkçedeki "mi" ekinin işini bu yapar:

You have a phone. → Do you have a phone?Telefonun var. → Telefonun var mı?
She has a cat. → Does she have a cat?Onun kedisi var. → Onun kedisi var mı?

Kısa cevaplar da kolaydır:

Dikkat

Soruda ve olumsuzda has → have olur: "Does she have...?" ✓ — "Does she has...?" ✗

5. Sık Yapılan Hatalar (Common Mistakes)

6. Birlikte Görelim (Two Classmates Talk)

İki genç eşyaları ve aileleri hakkında konuşuyor. Koyu yazılan kelimelere dikkat et ve iki kez oku:

My Family and My Things

Hi! I am Emre and I am fourteen. I have a big family. I have two brothers and one sister. My brothers are twins, and their names are Can and Cem. My sister is younger, and her name is Deniz.

My family lives in a small town. Our house is not big, but it is warm and nice. I have my own room. My room has a small bed, a desk, and a blue chair. I have many books on the desk. My brothers share a room, and they have a big map on the wall. My sister has a small room too, and she has many toys. We are a happy family, and we love our home. Every evening, we sit together and we talk about our day.

My parents have a small shop near our house. My mother has a bike, and my father has an old car. My family has a small garden too, and we have a table under a big tree. I have a cousin too. His name is Efe, and he has a big dog.

My parents work in their shop every day. The shop has fruit, bread, and milk. I help my mother after school, and I like this. My grandmother lives near us too. She has a big garden with many flowers. My grandfather has an old bike, and he rides it to the park. My cousin Efe visits us every weekend. Efe and I are good friends, and we play football together in the garden. His dog runs with us, and it is very fast.

We have a small dog. Its name is Paşa, and it has a red ball. Paşa is only two years old, and he has lots of energy. My sister has a cat too, so our house is never quiet! The cat is grey, and its name is Duman.

Our dog is very funny. Every morning, he runs in the garden, and he plays with his red ball. I give him food and water before school. My sister loves her cat very much. The cat sleeps all day, and it wakes up at night. Sometimes the dog and the cat play together, and sometimes they run around the house. Our house is always busy and loud. But we are happy because our pets are our good friends. I take photos of them with my phone.

I have a new phone and a game console. I have blue headphones for music. My brothers have a tablet too, but they don't have a game console. My best friend, Kaan, has the same console, so we play together after school. Kaan has a sister, but he doesn't have a brother.

I love music, so I use my headphones every day. I listen to songs on the bus and in my room. After school, Kaan and I play video games together. We have a favourite game, and we play it online. My brothers like their tablet, and they watch cartoons on it. I also like to draw. I have many pens and a big notebook for my pictures. On rainy days, I stay at home and I read my books. I am never bored, because I have many things to do.

At school, we are in the same football team, and our team has a new coach this year. Our teacher is Mr. Ata. He has many books, and his classroom has a big map on the wall. Our classroom has twenty desks, and every student has a locker. Do you have a favourite teacher too?

I like my school very much. Every day, I have five lessons. My favourite lesson is English, because Mr. Ata is very kind. He has a big smile, and he helps us a lot. At lunch, I eat with my friends in the school garden. We have a small shop at school too, and it has juice and sandwiches. After lunch, we have a sport lesson, and I love it. My friends and I are happy at school, and we learn many new things every week.

On the weekend, I do not go to school. I sleep late, and then I help my family at home. In the afternoon, I ride my bike with Efe. We go to the park, and we play with our friends. Sometimes my sister comes too, and she brings her camera. She takes photos of us and the trees. In the evening, my family watches a film together. Weekends are my favourite days, because I am with my family and my friends.

I have a YouTube account, but I don't have many videos yet. I make short videos with my phone, and my sister has a channel too. Many of my friends have their own accounts. Today I am really happy because we have a holiday tomorrow!
